Pallay Punchu is a moderate full-day trek that takes you through stunning Andean landscapes, offering panoramic views of rainbow-colored mountains and Laguna de Layo. Along the way, you will be surrounded by sacred Apus such as Pallay Punchu, Apu Taqllo, Condor Sallana, and Pashña Warcuna, making it a perfect experience to connect with nature and the spiritual essence of the Andes.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Pallay Punchu

START OF THE TOUR
Pick up from the hotel 04:00 am Early in the day, we will leave for Pallay Punchu.
Our mobility will pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time and we will travel to the south of Cusco. We will pass through beautiful Andean villages until we reach Cusipata town after 2 hours of travel where we will have our breakfast. Then we will travel 1 hour and 30 minutes more to the town of Layo from where we will start our beautiful walk.

ROUTE TO PALLAY PUNCHU
When we are ready, we will leave our mobility and start the walk. We will travel a short steep stretch and in approximately 1h30m we will reach the top of Pallay Punchu, the beautiful Mountain that presents the same combination of colors as Vinicunca. From Pallay Punchu we can take excellent panoramic photographs of this wonderful place with the Laguna de Layo in the background. We will be surrounded by sacred Apus such as Pallay Punchu, Apu Taqllo, Condor Sallana and Pashña Warcuna, it is an
excellent place to get in tune with nature.

TO THE FAREWELL PALLAY PUNCHU
After this wonderful experience, we will return to our vehicle to undertake the return route. We will have a delicious lunch and finally return to the city of Cusco where our vehicle will drop us off at the hotel.
